- this one is strange - although it's only LvL 3 Marine Products the only time I caught it was in the open sea while searching for a LvL 4 discovery near Zhigu. And I've bee fishing in almost every city in the world.


Fishing for Eaglewood & Cold Iron

“When you reach high enough level of fishing skill you can catch cold iron and eaglewood - two resources needed to craft high level weapons, uniforms, special figureheads and to build these ultimate lvl 10 Tortuga ships. But be warned - this skill is very hard to raise, certainly toughest to raise of all crafting / surviving skills.

Melacca, Bombay, Sri Lanka, Basra ,Quanzhou, Zhigu, Nagasaki:
None of these cities have neither normal nor secondary eaglewood nor cold iron. Extra resources are probably high level stuff and it seems that at my level of fishing skill (41 when I was in Asia) I can only get resources up to level 6.

Also note that Nagaski for medium level fishermen is "bring you own fishnet" city, as the shipyard boss there only sells high - level fishing net requiring lvl 61 fishing skill (this is by the way clarification to another thread claiming that highest level fishing net is only avialable from the item mall - no you can buy it in Seul, Nagasaki and Edo - but it look that unlike other tools bought from Weaponsmith, shipyard bosses always sell only one type of fishing net in a given city - inferior fishing net in 4 starting cities, high-level fishing net in Seul, Nagasaki and Edo, and mid-level fishing net in all remaining cities)
